About

Writing Stories Since the '80s

The coast of Maine has been the lifeblood to Clark Kelley’s creativity since she started crafting imaginary worlds with a pencil and a single-subject notebook decades ago. Raised on the Kennebec River and running the sands of Popham Beach, Clark Kelley enjoys setting stories in her home state.

With a B.A. in English from the University of Maine, writing became an integral part of her professional life in various fields while raising a son and working from home. Eventually her career path led to the nonprofit world and administration, serving as the CEO of a YMCA with a love for community service and bringing people together for good. Her downtime is spent with the imaginary, typing away to create fictional people, relationships, and settings. When not writing, Clark Kelley enjoys skiing, spending time with family, cooking vegetarian dishes, and taking her mini Australian Shepherd for runs.
